This is a cinematic coffee commercial for ERBeans, designed and directed by Inigma Studio, created to evoke emotion through hyper realism and atmosphere. This piece explores the sensory experience of coffee - not through words, but through silence, light, motion, and mood.
Every element is crafted with intention. We wanted viewers to feel the texture of the beans, smell the roast through the screen, and immerse themselves in the comfort of a familiar ritual.
This was a test of restraint. To move the viewer, not with flashy transitions, but with the elegance of stillness and subtlety.

The Challenge
We were tasked to make a realistic coffee commercial for a local brand using CGI. We had to achieve hyper realistic results to make it seem like it was shot practically. We wanted it to feel warm, welcoming and cinematic

Our Approach
We began by treating the project as if it were a live-action shoot. We planed camera movements, lighting setups, and shot compositions before touching a single polygon. Every shot was pre-visualized to ensure the pacing felt natural and the atmosphere intimate.
For the beans, we made our custom procedural shader that allowed us full control over how the beans look, the roast level and the roughness. Lighting was sculpted to mimic the softness of early mornings - diffused, golden and slow - capturing the essence of what coffee is - not just a product. An art form. A morning ritual for many.
Instead of overloading with effects, we leaned into restraint: shallow depth of field to guide the eye, lingering shots to let the viewer breathe and a color palate that fit the mood we tried to achieve. The result is a short cinematic that feels alive and you can almost smell the beans and the senses take over.
