Welcome to DOOM

At the Gates of Hell
From the world of DOOM by id Software, this shelved short film project was one of our most ambitious undertakings at Inigma Studio. The goal was to create a fully CGI short film that captured the relentless energy, brutality and larger-than-life atmosphere of the DOOM universe while also showcasing our ability to handle every stage of film production - from ideation to final render.

Forged in Fire
We developed the script, screenplay, and story, moving into previsualization, concept art, asset creation, animation, VFX, lighting, texturing, rigging, and rendering. The project was a true end-to-end production effort, demonstrating the range and depth of what our team is capable of delivering.

The Slayer's Journey
The short followed the DOOM Slayer across multiple iconic locations - from a demon-infested Earth to the corrupted citadels of Hell and the shattered surface of Mars. Across these settings, he confronted the Hell Priests, the Maykrs, and ultimately the towering Icon of Sin.
The narrative was designed to balance large-scale destruction with close, brutal combat sequences, blending cinematic storytelling with the raw, visceral energy that defines DOOM.

Hell's Obstacles
Scale of Production: A full CGI short film with multiple environments, characters, and battles required enormous planning and resources.
Faithfulness to Source: Staying true to the brutal aesthetic of DOOM while adding our own cinematic vision.
Technical Depth: Handling complex simulations, large asset creation pipelines, rigging, and rendering for sequences involving hundreds of moving parts.
Time Constraints: With limited resources and tight schedules, the scope of the project became the main challenge and ultimately led to shelving.

Testament of the Slayer
Though unfinished, the DOOM short demonstrated that Inigma Studio can confidently handle:
Complete script-to-screen pipelines
Large-scale CGI production with multiple environments and characters
Cinematic storytelling fused with high-quality 3D animation and VFX
Strong art direction and technical execution under resource constraints
It remains a showpiece of ambition, craft, and vision for what our team can achieve.
